About Helen’s Garden

This delightful modern cottage garden is a flower lover’s paradise. Wander through the garden to discover secret nooks and crannies crammed with floral treasures. The rustic front garden is predominately local native plants; designed by Ann Forma.

The lawn-free landscape has a beautiful rear and side garden, designed by Cherise Haslam from Garden Deva.  Roses, salvias, liliums, camellias, rosemaries and herbs blend with trees and unusual cottage favourites. Perennials and succulents add to diversity and the meandering path leads to sitting areas and shady nooks where the gardener’s love of quirky plants and features are revealed.

Food plantings are throughout the garden, and wicking beds made in recycled fridges are used for specialised vegetable growing.  This is a gardener’s garden with an abundance of interest for all plant lovers.
