About Coral’s Garden

A well established and expansive 2 acre garden sitting prettily on the rolling hills of Thomson Brook near Donnybrook.  There is a lovely stretch of lawn and mature trees offering shade to shade loving plants as well as quiet picnic spots.  Coral has created many mosaic pieces which add interest and some capture history in the clever use of old tools as a mark of respect for a bygone era. Recycled timber has been turned into fascinating and artistic bird houses and outdoor furniture strategically placed amongst the trees.

The old tram carriage supplies a perfect haven for an immense range of shade plants in an eclectic mix of containers, both hanging and potted.   Chickens scratching freely somehow add that extra bit of country charm while cattle graze happily nearby.

For a really relaxing day, join us on a coach trip to visit this garden.  Tickets & itinerary available in October.  Early bird offers for members of Open Gardens West Coast.
